The Challenge
A healthcare AI startup needed a complete public-facing marketing site for a medical guidance app — fixed-price, low budget, fast turnaround, with strict messaging guardrails (no diagnosis claims, healthcare-appropriate tone), GDPR-aware compliance, WCAG 2.1 AA, and brand-perfect fidelity to a Figma design across seven pages. Conventional agency timelines and budgets simply do not fit that scope.
The Solution
I architected an end-to-end AI flow that consumed every client input — brand assets, copy drafts, style guide, decision history, milestone gates — and structured them into a system of CLAUDE.md context files, ADR decision logs, tone and copy guardrails, and a milestone tracker. With that scaffolding in place, Claude executed each phase from precisely scoped, context-focused prompts: generating the design directly into Figma via the Figma MCP integration under my critical, watchful eye, then building the Next.js 14 / Tailwind / shadcn/ui codebase off the approved design. I drove every decision that 25 years of design judgement should drive — typography, hero composition, healthcare tone, brand integrity — and automated the work that benefits from automation: design token application, the MDX content layer, repetitive section assembly, accessibility plumbing.
The Results
A complete, on-brand marketing site produced in 3 days. Every compliance and copy guardrail observed; the client's voice preserved verbatim; not a single client detail missed. The build was set up with an MDX-driven content layer so the client could edit copy and reorder sections after launch without a developer. This is what 25 years of design judgement plus a well-constructed AI flow makes possible — the next wave of how production websites are designed and shipped.
